HIGH SCHOOL IN THE U.S.

Whether you live with a host family at the foot the Rocky Mountains, on the plains of the Midwest, in Louisiana "cajun" country or in suburbs of a large city, studying in the U.S. will change your life.  It will leave you with a global perspective impossible to learn from any textbook.  Living abroad will allow you to completely immerse yourself in a new society, the English language and a new way of thinking - the way to truly understand a culture different from your own.

Our Academic Year and Semester Programs focus on the importance of English language and cultural immersion.  As our student you will attend a local high school for 5 or 10 months, have a chance to make new friends, share time with your host family and learn a great deal about yourself Studying in the US with us is the opportunity of a life time!

WHERE WILL I LIVE?

You will live with a volunteer host family.  Our host families are warm giving people who are interested in learning about your culture and want to share their own traditions with their new international 'son" or "daughter".  As a member of the family, you will participate in all family activities including mealtime and the sharing of the day's adventures!  You might be placed in a large city or a small town; part of the excitement will be finding out where and with whom you'll live.

Regional requests are not guaranteed as we place importance on matching you with the family that shares your interests rather than emphasizing geographic location.

WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL WILL I ATTEND?

You will attend a public high school near your new home.  High schools in the U.S. vary in size from 100 students to several thousand students.

Private schools may be available if you are willing to pay the extra tuition fees.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE?

  • Orientation session upon arrival individual
  • Accommodation with a host family
  • Breakfast and dinner daily
