Dear Asian high school parents:

ASIAMERICA Academic & Cultural Exchange (AACE) is now offering high school programs for Asian high school students, aged 13-18, who wish to complete their secondary education in the United States at private and parochial schools.

AACE, founded in 1983, has sent more than 4,000 Asian high school students on one-year exchange programs to public and private high schools in the United States, and is now accepting applicants of all nationalities who have exemplary academic records and a strong command of English to join our private school programs. 

Successful applicants enter the program in January or August and will typically spend at least two or three years on the program and will live with faculty and school host families while preparing to enter the nation's most competitive universities. The annual cost per student, including tuition, room and full board, remains substantially less than if the student were to attend one of the numerous international schools here in Asia.

AACE works closely with carefully selected private high schools which have a reputation for academic excellence while meeting the needs of the individual student. Each of our private high schools meets these goals while remaining distinctly unique. Some schools offer English as a Second Language while others require international students to have a sufficient level of English proficiency upon enrolling. There are schools for students with special talents and needs, single-gender and co-educational schools. Overall we have designed a private high school program which is flexible and diverse.

We have found that international students desire variety in their educational opportunities and experiences. Most public schools cannot compete with the effective organization, clear goals, and strong leadership found in private schools. Combined with the presence of quality teaching and high academic expectations, an exciting learning environment is created.

AACE over the past ten years has also arranged full and partial scholarships of 30 percent or more of tuition, room, and board for Asian high school students who have participated in our programs in very competitive level U.S. colleges and universities. (SEE our University Scholarship Program)

We still offer students with excellent academic records our one year programs to government (public) high schools in the United States and other countries, from $ 6,000 per year including tuition, room, board and health/accident insurance.
