EXCHANGE PROGRAM
TO THE U.S.A.

THAI AMERICAN STUDENT
EXCHANGE and ASIAMERICA ACADEMIC AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE offer
a new exchange opportunity for teachers and administrators of
pre-school, primary and secondary schools.
This new program is
open to school administrators and teachers currently employed
from pre-school through high school levels. There is no age
limitation.
Participants must have
basic English proficiency, which is defined as the ability
to communicate in English with an American host family, and
sufficient English language skills to be an active participant
in the host school’s classroom and administrative activities,
school extra-curricular activities, as well as teach American
students and teachers aspects of their own culture.
Participants must be
mature, flexible, open-minded, responsible and of good character.
All applicants must
be in good physical and mental health.
Participants will be
able to choose the length of their exchange program: ONE MONTH,
ONE SEMESTER or ONE ACADEMIC YEAR. Those who meet the above
qualifications for the program will live with a carefully chosen
American host family and will be placed in a fully accredited
American government or private school according to their own
interests and teaching or administrative background.
Full and partial scholarships
and stipends to cover the costs of the exchange program as well
as pre-departure training are available to qualified teachers
and administrators.
